Ok, all of you that are missing french fries, i have got the recipie for you. Homemade oven fries. mmmm. serves 6
2 1/2 lbs potatos (any kind works)
1 tsp veg oil
1 tblsp white sugar
1 tsp salt
1 pinch cayenne pepper
preheat the oven to 450 and line a baking sheet with foil and spray with PAM. scrub potatoes, and slice into 1/2 inch thick fries. Toss potatoe wedges in a large bowl with the sugar, oil, salt and pepper making sure they are coated evenly. Lay in once layer on the lined baking sheet and bake for 30 mins in preheated oven, turning once at half time. They should be brown and tender when done. serve right away.
These are easy, fast and everyone will love them, they are so good and pretty low in fat for us IBS types.
