Lactose-free milk is still milk, and dairy is very hard for IBS'ers to digest. Otherwise, Chex should be fine. I've been ok with cheerios, honeycomb, corn pops, and unsweetened puffed rice (not to be confused with rice krispies, which have HFCS) too.

And if you find yourself wanting some hot cereal that isn't oatmeal, cream of rice is light and mild, and cream of wheat is a good choice too. Just be aware that the instant variety has wheat germ in it, which may or may not be a bit more insoluble than your body wants first thing in the morning.
