Tomato Chicken Rice Soup

I just made this soup, and it was very hearty and good, I would make it again!!
1/4 c. all purpose flour 1 large onion, chopped 1 large green pepper, chopped 2 celery ribs, chopped 3 green onions, chopped 3 garlic cloves, minced 2 tsp. canola oil 2 c. water 2 cans (14 1/2 oz) chicken broth, no MSG 2 c. cooked rice 2 c. cubed cooked chicken breast 1 can (14 1/2 oz) diced tomatoes 1 tsp oregano 1 tsp dried thyme 1 bay leaf 1 tsp salt
In a small nonstick skillet, brown flour over medium heat, set aside. In a dutch oven, saute the onion, pepper, celery, gr onion and garlic in oil til tender: stir in flour until blended. stir in the remaining ingredients. bring to boil, reduce heat: simmer uncovered, for 30 min, or til done.
7 servings - one serving, (1 1/2 cup) equals 197 calories
