I mentioned freezing desserts for this afternoon and she was like fine, but make sure your not making too many.. I figure my office is having a party monday and I'll bring them in...

normally what I do is freeze pre-sliced or muffin sized baked goods (mini or regular muffin pans get used a ton in our house) so I can just defrost what I want to eat and the rest stay frozen for when I want to eat them.. works well... and I dont' get tempted by the entire pan of brownies if I've just defrosted 2 mii muffins then thats what I eat.
