applesauce for oil exchange       07/03/03 01:32 PM Edit Reply Quote queenie Reged: 04/04/03 Posts: 88 Loc: Texas, USA hi i'm going to do some baking and need to know the exchange rate for applesauce in substitution for oil. for example if a recipe calls for 1/2 cup oil can i use 1/2 cup applesauce? do i need more or elss applesauce? or exchange or use 1/4 cup of each? also what type of applesauce is good, swetened or unsweetened? thanks amy Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
