The *flavor* is excellent. I mean, REALLY good... and we omitted the jalapeno... I think it would be terrific with a shot of Tabasco or a sprinkle of cayenne to make up for it if you omit the jalapeno, but it tasted good without.
BUT - it's wicked dry. I don't know if that's because we halved the oil, or what. We ended up not eating it in tortillas (or lavash, in our case) because the additional bread just made it SO dry that it was almost difficult to swallow. LOL! It worked really well without the tortilla. Rachel thinks she's going to try it at home, adding chopped mushrooms, tomatoes, and green peppers for added moisture.
So uh... that's our review. Would I make it again? Sure! But I'd skip the tortillas.
