Hi everyone, I'm new to this, so please bear (bare?) with me! My 6 yr old daughter was just diagnosed with ibs and it is extremely hard to find things to cook for her/us. We have had chicken 5 times this week, I just can't do it again tonight. *sigh*. It is very hard to try new and innovative cooking for a 6 yr old and my whole day consists of trying to think of what to cook that is healthy, won't hurt her but is also kid friendly.

One thing that I have always cooked in the past is pasta with shrimp and broccoli (with olive oil, garlic and chicken broth) she doesn't like broccoli so I always take that out. I was thinking of making it with spinach tonight - she loves spinach and I feel she is really losing alot of the nutrients she needs with this new "diet" lately.

Sooooo...my question is: is spinach usually a "trigger food"? And if so, I THINK it is alright to eat as long as it is with the pasta correct? Because from what I am understanding here, it is not necessarily what you eat, but HOW you eat it, right? Please help - I'm stumped!! Also, she loves the pillsbury bisquits that you get in the frozen food section...are they a no no too??

Please help!!!!

Karen
