Hi Sweetd! I also use the Ragu light and I think it tastes just as good. I never noticed it tasting any more tart, but I do stir in a tiny bit of sugar anyway just to reduce the acid... but then again I did that even before switching to the light variety!

As for your original question, I'd recommend these recipes that I've tried:

Crockpot BBQ Chicken Sandwiches (notice the comment later in the thread about also throwing in a sliced sweet onion!)
Crockpot Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken
Hawaiian Chicken
Crockpot Chicken Stew
