It's seriously been a lifesaver for me this past year. I love to cook, but with me being so sick, it's been very hard for me to even care about cooking... so I throw a few things in the 'pot, and 7 hours or so later, the boyfriend has dinner. Perfect! I don't know if you can eat tomato sauce and such yet, but one of my favorite dinners is: 1. A jar of pasta sauce - I use Ragu Light Tomato & Basil 2. A package of chicken breasts 3. A small can of mushrooms, drained 4. A teaspoon of basil 5. If you have it, 1/4 cup or so of red wine Cook everything on low till the chicken's done, serve over spaghetti with soy parmesan and voila - chicken cacciatore! Enjoy your slow cooker!
