Gravy 2c. veggie stock 1/4 c. cold water 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper In saucepan bring stock to a simmer over med. heat. In bowl, whisk starch in water til dissolved. Add to stock, whisk constantly. Return to simmer 1 min or til thick. Add salt and pepper.
French Fries 2 tbsp. vegetable oil 5 medium potatoes Peel potaotes, cut in stripes. Let stand in cold water 1 hr. Drain, blot dry. Spray a jelly roll pan with cooking oil. Spread potatoes in single layer. Sprinkle oil on top and stir to coat evenly. Bake 450F, 30-40 min. Turn fries several times while cooking in oven.
