a question about IBS

I know this is probably not the right place to post but I can not find where else to post this question. I am going to the doctor in Oct due to symptoms I feel are close to IBS. I have been to the hospital twice with extreme abdominal pain (including back and pelvic area) and they could not find anything wrong. I was extremely dehydrated but blood test, urine test came out normal. All organs looked good and I had no kidney stone, no appendicitis. The more I read about IBS but with constepation(my brother also has it) the more I think I may. My only concern is that people with it seem not to have pain all the time. Mine is a lot less painful than it was but I get a constant ache (almost feels like having someone poking a bruise) and what I think is muscle spasm feeling in my side. I always have lower back ache and severity depends on side pain. My left leg also has been achy lately. The pain is basically on my left side but sometimes goes to my right. I have gas and bloating feeling and sometimes I can press my stomach and actually relieve the pressure. I notice I feel better when I don't eat a lot and once when I had McDonald's French Fries, the pain got worse. What worries me though is I am always in pain (usually not bad but its there). Does this sound familiar to anyone with IBS? My biggest fear is it is ovarian cancer which has similar symptoms.

I know you can't give me 100% and I need to go to the doctor (which I am) it is just I am constantly thinking about my stomach and pain, which is causing anxiety and stress.

Thank you
Dawn
