Sit on it instead of a chair. The whole idea using a ball is it forces you to sit up straight. You can not slouch or cross your legs. This is advice I got from a Fitness Trainer. If you decide to try a ball - read the outside of the box. You want to buy a ball that is in your height range. It is a great chair to have when you sit at the computer alot. BTW I don't have any back problems, but I want to avoid it due to a job that is known to cause back pain. Print     Remind Me     Notify Moderator
