Well Klutzy is doing a lot better this morning. I can actually step down with my foot and it's really not that bad. The swelling has gone down but I still have a nasty purple bruise (I'm just playing like it's a tattoo). I want to thank all of you for being concerned about me.
Hubby left on his trip this morning.....but a lot of confusion beforehand. We were getting ready and I confirmed the flight was on time and just about that time on CNN they reported that all American Airlines had been grounded due to a computer glitch!! They said it would be several hours before the problem was fixed. Of course that brought on a "D" attack. Well, couldn't get ahold of anyone on the phone and the computer confirmed his flight was on time. So, we decided to take the chance and go ahead to the airport. The plan was that I was to drop him off in front and drive around while he tried to find out what was going on. I don't like driving around airports....I always get confused and there are cars coming from everwhere so I was a nervous wreck. Good thing I took an Immodium!! Anyway after frantically driving around several times he came out and said that this flight was only delayed 30 min but the change-over flight in Dallas was delayed 2 hrs. So I kissed him goodbye and he went on his way to Denver.
When I got home I heard the news said there was some chatter about terror attacks. I just don't like for him to travel with all this stuff going on. Boo Hoo I already miss him and I have 4 more days to go.
Anyway, tonight my great-nephew who is 14 is coming over to spend the night and play on my computer....he doesn't have one....so that should be fun. I'm going to make chocolate chip cookies for him....may even have a little bite myself!
