I just got a call from the emerg doc I saw yesterday who said that my urine culture came back positive for a kidney infection. I've had many a bladder infection in my life, but never a kidney infection so I'm just looking for any advice for self-care or things to do to make yourself more comfortable.
I've got painkillers and they've started me on strong antibiotics, but I find that I've still got burning when I pee and bad side/flank pain which worsens when I need to go to the bathroom.
