Kidney stone maybe?       07/29/04 11:54 AM Edit Reply Quote Nugget Reged: 02/10/03 Posts: 2167 Once I had excruciating lower back pain that radiated to the lower right front abdomen. No pain urinating or passing blood, but I went to the emergency room and they did all kinds of tests and found kidney stones by doing a CAT scan. They gave me pain pills and a little gadget to strain my urine through to catch the stone when it passed so they could send it to the lab. The pain pills made me sick so I just took Advil and after a day the stone finally passed....it was so small to cause sooo much pain and it had a "barb" on each side of it. The lab found that it was mostly calcium and so I had to quit taking calcium supplements...I was taking Viactive chews. That was a couple years ago and haven't had trouble since.
