Have you been eating any bananas? These cramps can come from a lack of potassium, believe it or not, and yes, they hurt like heck.

Just type in "leg cramps" into any search engine, and a whole host of sites will come up.
It could be something more serious, yes, but with all the meds you're on right now and stuff, I wouldn't be surprised if it's something this simple.
