Golf tourney results       07/22/04 02:21 PM Edit Reply Quote BL Reged: 06/01/03 Posts: 3522 Well, my son finished SECOND in the junior golf tournament today. He was so disappointed, because it was so close! He was tied for 1st until the very end. Then he ended up in a playoff round to determine 2nd and 3rd place. It was painful watching his lead slip away, knowing how much he wanted to win this one. I know it was hard for him seeing the winner walk away with this huge trophy while he accepted his small one. But in the end, my husband and I were proud of him---he walked up to the tournament organizers and shook their hands and thanked them for allowing him to play. Gosh, I just wanted to hug him, sweaty body and all, but of course, a Mom can't embarrass her son, so that will have to wait until he gets home. I love this kid!
