I can't speak for every adoptive mom out there but I for one am very grateful that my children's birthmothers chose life for my kids. Planning for adoption was very difficult for both of my kids birthmothers...one had her rights terminated so she really had NO choice.
My husband and I tell our kids all of the time that their birthmom's loved them (and I know they did)and did what they felt was best. Our children write their birthmoms whenever they like and I happily send the letters to the agency so that they can be sent to the birthmother. We have been blessed in that when I ask them to write the kids, they comply.
So my message to you is that this adoptive mother thinks nothing but good thoughts of my kids birthmoms and the kids feel the same. We are forever blessed and eternally grateful.
