Help! I can't lose the Predniseone weight gain!!!       07/11/04 04:30 PM Edit Reply Quote CityWoman Reged: 03/27/04 Posts: 13 Loc: Ontario, Canada Help! I have ulcerative colitis. I have been off prednisone for the past 4 weeks now and I'm doing well on the Salofalk. However, in the 4 months I was on Pred I gained 18 pounds and I feel terrible. I kept having people tell me that the weight would start coming off after I stopped Pred. WELL IT'S NOT!!! Help me please. I feel fat, bloated and really discouraged. I dont' want to stay this size and I feel very frustrated and angry. I am grateful that my body is behaving better from a health perspective, but I am so very unhappy with my physical appearance it's starting to get me down.
