I guess im going to have to do some reading, because im not sure what Soluable(sp?)fiber is? What is a good thing to eat thats safe when you are on the road? My mail route is approx. 37 miles from leaving the post office to returning.So running to the bathroom is kind of hard in the middle of the country.I sure wonder how the instructer for Rural Mail Carrier school does it? She has a 79 mile mail route 6 days a week and she also suffers from Colitis.I noticed during training she drank these yogurt smoothies(nouriche?) during the day. Im gonna make sure i do some reading on the other boards to get some ideas of what is good to eat and what isnt.IBS sure does suck, but besides that i have diverticulosis. Well technically i still carry the disease but had my colon resectioned about 5 yrs ago. The doc gave me the okay to eat whatever i liked again, but i notice if i eat popcorn or nuts,it still affects me!So i avoid all that yet.
