When my mom was having a baby shower for my sister, she got a lot of clothes and small baby toys. A majority of the people would give things like a sleeper set (one of those unitard things, you know? I don't know exactly what they're called...) with toys like a teething ring, baby rattle, etc. in the box with it. I think what my mom most liked were the nightlights that her coworker bought her. They're the kind that you hang on your wall and you push the face of it in to turn it on, and the light is very soft. They're still up above my sister's bed because she can't sleep without them, and she's 4 years old now! We also got a lot of stuffed animals! Bev had some great ideas as well!
