That is ME to a tee! Couple days before ovulation I get D all morning! Then I'm ok till I get my period.

See, 2-4 days before ovulation I start with back aches, menstrual type cramps, fatigue and twinges of pain in my stomach. It lasts for 2 weeks until I menstruate and then I get a 2 week reprieve. I had a pap and vaginal exam yesturday and my doctor couldn't even feel my ovaries. She said that was a good sign-she said if I had ovarian cancer my ovaries would be able to be felt and enlarged. She is still sending me for a sonogram because she thinks I need it mentally and of course she wants to be sure nothing serious is going on. She is an IBS sufferer herself and she gave me tons of tips. I am just not believing that these symptoms can be so easily explained as IBS. I mean why did it start and how can it come and go like it does?

If it's any consolation, a good friend of mine in her 50's just died of ovarian cancer and she had no period symptoms AT ALL. I'm conviced that when you have cancer you have no symptoms. It just comes on....believe me...I'm a very big cancer worrier too!!!!
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. My aunt died of breast cancer 4 years ago..it was so hard on my whole family.
Thanks for your response. I tried to email you privately, but I couldn't access your email.
