I have moved several times and the biggest thing is not to wait until the last min. Try to be organized and put anything important that you might need immediately together clearly marked. Contrary to what you think when you are packing you can't always remember everything that is in the boxes, especially when you need something important. I have had my older daughters birthday present for months in my drawer. When we moved at the beginning of June I put it someplace safe and now I can't find it. Her BD is Friday. I guess it will have to be a Christmas present. As far as decorating goes, start small and finish every project you start. When you move to a new place and are excited it is easy to what to jump in with both feet and start a bunch of projects together. Good luck and Congratulations!
