Hey Bev,
Sorry for the confusion, the pictures are actually from an apartment on the seventh floor, we took an apartment on the 1st, but the set-up is the same. We just have doors where some of the windows are and a patio. I'm afraid of heights...so we had to go with something lower.
Basically, when you walk into the living room, the bay window is over on the right wall and the other windows are in front of you (I hope that makes sense).
Actually, my boyfriend is pretty handy, he built our cat a cat climbing tree on his own so he could probably do a bench...that would be really nice  The lady who was in the apartment before us had a bench, but there was no cushion on it, she just had potted plants on it. But a cushion, that would be nice.
So, we'll be needing actual blinds or drapes because being on the first floor, there is a bit of a privacy issue...they'll probably be open most of the time to get some nice sunlight, but I definately want them there.
I'll work on getting a pic of the picture, I'm still figuring out how to work my digital camera, but I should have it soon!
