That's actually the kind of reply I was expecting, so it's no big deal at all. I had a high-school friend who did some word processing from home, and basically, she was working for the company she was working for anyway, just from home - telecommuting, somewhat. She DID manage to make a living doing it, but only because they were still paying her the same way they'd paid her when she was actually in the office. In other words, she was really lucky. LOL!
I'm sorry to hear they've stopped sending you work! That stinks.
Really, I'm pretty fortunate in that the cost of living is low enough here that we're "getting by" on just Adam's income, so I don't worry too much about "making a living". I don't like feeling like a burden, though, so I try to scramble up enough to pay my own credit card bill and car insurance, about $150/month. That's normally a piece of cake for me on ebay... except in the summer.
Ah well. Thanks for the information, anyway!
