Yes some people still think by taking anxiety/depression meds. that they have to treat you differently. You're right though, it is caused by a chemical imbalance and is an illness just like any other. People need to realize that more so there isn't so much stigma with going for help. It doesn't mean anyone is weak, they just have an illness that needs to be treated just like we need to treat our IBS.I think someday they will find that alzheimers (like my Mom has) will be linked to a chemical imbalance as other things she has is linked to it already. Glad you're feeling better and I'm sure as time goes on you'll be feeling even better than you are now.
