Hey there, Sweetie!

How ya feelin' today? Doin' good? Where are ya on The Scale?

I been busy! Oy. We're startin' to clear everything outa here. Took 2 bookcases, a small writing desk, a 2-drawer file cabinet, and 2 boxes over to storage. Now we're taking stuff off the walls and puttying up the holes. Cleaning everything we take down off the walls, and packing up more boxes of stuff, to take over to storage tomorrow. As soon as we can make room in this tiny place, we'll start painting the walls, then move the furniture back in place. Then I wanna scrub all the venitian blinds and the windows.

We wanna get as much done as we can before the move so we don't have to return to do it when we'll be wanting to spend all our time moving into the new place.

Some exciting news: we mentioned our move to the next-door neighbor who was surprised and said, "Wow, I think I might be interested! I could knock the wall down separating our living rooms, and expand my living space by double!" She asked how much we want (we haven't decided), and asked if she could have the right of first refusal.

She's a snow bunny; only lives here in the summer, then returns to her palacial mansion in Phoenix for the winter. She said she could buy our place, hire her contractors to do the work, then take off for her winter home while the contractors do all the work, then return to find it all finished for her.

Must be nice.

Okay, gotta go -- I got more boxes to pack.
