Hello, Dear Friends,
Just thought I'd check in! As you all know, my daughter is pregnant again! Well, a few days after I told you about it, she nearly had a miscarriage. She had to go to ER and had a bunch of tests run.
She has a tear that is bleeding inside. I don't know all the technical jargon. The night it happened was Mother's Day. I was preparing a bunch of food to take for our Mom's Day gathering. Our whole family was going to get together.
Well, she called me; scared and crying and said she wanted me go with her to ER, so I did. My husband took care of our other grandchild and my son-in-law drove us to town. It was a very, long ride!!!
To shorten the story, she ended up being put on bed rest for about a week. So, I was taking care of her and Sammy both during the day, until her husband got home from work.
Then she started having migraines. She can't take her usual meds for it; so she had to go to the doc for a shot that is safe. It worked, but she was exhausted for the next few days after that. So, I was taking care of little Sammy for her.
For now at least, it looks like things are going much better for Liana, (my daughter).
In the meantime, I got behind on my book orders and had to take care of my mailings. I'm just now getting things caught up, although my house is a total wreck. So, hopefully, I'll get it all done this weekend.
I'm going to try to visit here at least once a day, but if you don't hear from me; you'll know I'm taking care of someone or something.
