Hope you're better soon!       05/24/04 09:54 PM Edit Reply Quote MissS Reged: 02/11/04 Posts: 837 Hi StephS! I just wanted to say that I was hypothyroid for about 7 years. Before I was diagnosed, I was so tired that I couldn't stay awake. It was impossible. I'd go into these really deep sleeps day and night. My joints ached something fierce, too. My hair became very brittle and I was just a wreck, and soooo depressed. After being on synthroid for awhile, I started to feel so much better. Over the years, I had to have my dose raised a few times. I just wanted to let you know that you're going to be fine. We're lucky to live in a time when there's so many good medications.
