Hi,

Thanks Heather for starting this site its been very helpful to me along with your Eating for IBS book.

A long time reader of this site with a first time question. Has anybody ever heard of glyconutrients (8 essential sugars that the body needs) and a company call Mannatech. I recieved info from a relative who suffers from IBS-C (like me), as well as other issues, who has recently started "treatment" and she say's it has been a complete turnaround for her. Is it a magic bullet or a scam. She spent $1400 for a six month supply of the various products that were recommended for her to try. I've done some on-line research and have gotten mixed messages. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
