Well, I haven't done too badly, but I haven't really concentrated much on food lately. Frankly, I have no idea how I'm doing (my scales are in storage). I've spent so much time lately down at the property, picking up debris after the contractors, then coming home, exhausted, I have no time to think of food.
Okay, I went off the wagon a little and bought some chocolate Soy Dream "ice cream" to use in my chocolate banana smoothie. And last night I woke up in the middle of the night, absolutely STARVING, and didn't want to make a lot of noise and wake up Don -- the only thing "on hand" was the "ice cream," so I pigged out on it.
So no, I haven't been very good. However, while I haven't made any sweets, I just made a huge pot of lentil soup. (I make a killer soup.) Besides, a very cute young bachelor just bought the condo below us and is gonna be moving in; I wanted to welcome him, so I went down there, bearing a big container of hot soup. Darn, he's cute. He's a border guard (for our side, of course) who built a big home in town here but whose wife got it in the divorce. He doesn't seem very upset about it, and is doing an excellent job decorating the new condo. Me thinks I'm gonna like having him down there.
