Ok Girlfriend!
I just noticed that you joined this website on my husband's birthday, November 4th. You joined on 11/4/03.

Did you live in Arlington, MA? Wha part of Maine did you come from. I want to do a day trip to Kennebunkport in June when the bus goes up there. Used to go on trips a lot but don't want to stay overnight anymore. Rather be at home at night with my own comforts.
I never tried doing stained glass but used to go to ceramic classes. I made a lot of nice things for my daughter when she was married and the same for my younger sister when she got married. Even my husband went. They loved his work so much that he worked there while I painted the ceramics. He was great at doing it, especially dry brushing and when he worked on hummel figurines they said you couldn't tell them from the real thing. It was nice because his working there on the nights we went paid for our classes and supplies.

It's nice you can do you home over the way you want to. We live in an apartmen building, it's nice but nothing like having your own home. In two years we're going into elderly housing as the rent will be much cheaper. My husband's bosses want to give up the business in two years so we might take early retirement at 62. If someone hires him then he would keep working. There aren't too many people that do finishing/refinishing anymore so age wouldn't matter on that type of job.
