I just told my husband about the doors and he said to do them the same way I explained to you about the vanity. He said to tell you the most important thing is to make sure they are really washed down good after they are stripped and sanded. Also if you need to shine any of the hardware (if they're brass) on the vanity and doors use dry FINE steel wool.

My husband opens the shop and leaves for work at 3:45 AM. Yes that's right AM. He's usually home between 2:30 and 3:00 PM. He and one of his bosses work early to avoid the rush hour traffic as the shop is in Boston. The Canadians make good furniture. The French and Italians are the ones who did most of the buildings in the United States and Canada. Since my husband is half Italian and half French Canadian he must have it in his blood. he's been doing it since he was 16. Of course he went to school to learn it but worked after school doing the same thing. Well hope this info. helps you.
