Hyacinth can get very heavy and often need to be propped up! Use a stick or wood doll rod for support. Be sure NOT to over water them, excess water will make them too heavy and drop as well! They do like sun so be sure its getting plenty of natural light.

Where do you live?? I live in Michigan and grow lots of them in my garden! They do have a lovely smell. I haven't found too many house plants that are very fragerant. Jasmine is my favorite but it only smells when its in bloom which is usually late spring. I brought mine if from outside this past fall is its HUGE, I can't wait for it to warm up a little more and put it back outside. Honeysuckle is another good one but again, it is usually an outdoor plant.

I consider myself a pretty good gardner and have somewhat of a green thumb but cant think of too much to grow inside. Most of your spring bulbs(such as the Hyacinth) will bloom inside just as well as outside but usually only bloom for a few weeks.
