Was this what caused the problem last week when he wouldn't talk with you? You guys need to somehow find some quiet time -- together.
I don't envy you two, having to work so hard (been there!), but maybe this might make you feel a little better: hubby and I are cramped up in this little tiny condo ALL DAY LONG (neither of us work). It's only a 2-room condo. Because we're in the process of building our home, which won't be finished for 4-1/2 more months, I'm real busy trying to make drapes for the place. That means I have my sewing machine in the middle of the main room, fabric spread out all over the place, rolls of fabric leaning against the walls, half-packed boxes of winter sheets and blankets piled up against the walls, and -- get THIS -- our rowing machine also sitting in the middle of the room (next to my sewing machine)! Not to mention the "regular furniture" in here -- this desk and computer, couch, coffee table, end tables, recliner, bar stools, etc., etc., etc. We're ON TOP OF EACH OTHER (and not in a good way)!
Bear with me here, Girlfriend --
I'm going stir-crazy with hubby. He wants to get on the computer, but I need the chair for my sewing machine. He pulls up a barstool to the computer, but it's in my way; I can't spread out the drapery fabric on the floor. He steps over the fabric but trips on it. I don't want to say anything, but the blood starts boiling......
How do I get rid of this man? I have work to do!!!
Okay, I've vented. Thankfully, the convalescent center that he does temporary driving for just called and asked if he could do a rush run to the hospital for one of the patients -- so I got rid of him long enough to get on the computer.
Now back to work.....
