A couple weekends ago, we noticed in the paper that my old house was up for sale and they were having an open house. So hubby and I went and it was kind of strange being back there. The last time I was inside was over 14 years ago. It has had two owners since then and the addition my family started still isn't done. But, it supposedly will be finished for the next buyer by the realtor. I told the realtor that I was raised there and she let us take some pictures. It's funny how when I lived there it seemed so big....now it seems so small. My mom and brother went to the open house this past weekend. Mom says she'd move back in a minute. We have some good memories there, but I wouldn't move back. My dad would have gone to the open house but he is working out of town.
Have any of you ever had that opportunity to go back to the house you were raised in?
