I use only sea salt and it has decreased my water retention significantly. There is only one kind that I find that tastes good and also works well. I get it in my grocery store but health food stores have it as well. It comes in a 26oz blue container and it's called, "Sel De Mer Fin" by La Baleine. I use the fine crystals (it's just like salt). I've reccomended this to other people who were having water retention and they have all stopped using the regular table salt and love this salt. It really works good for water retention. I haven't used anything else for years. When I eat something someone else has cooked I usually blow up like a baloon from the salt.
