We had a bridal shower for my best friend for her wedding. We did put definitions of what a "shower" is on the invites, but we got lots of comments from people about how much fun they had. Do you have any wacky American friends to throw one?
Oh, incidentally the shower was themed around "bath" products and held in Bath... so we had a Bath Shower in Bath...
