Linz, it's true that there's no really good treatment, but there are plenty of things that help a little that your doctor can prescribe. I would definitely pursue a firm diagnosis. I'm feeling so much better than when I was first diagnosed, there's no comparison. There's a great book in the same series as Heather's about fibromyalgia: The First Year--Fibromyalgia: An Essential Guide for the Newly Diagnosed -- by Claudia Craig Marek. I highly recommend it. There's also lots of websites (but none as good as this one!!)
