2014: My form of synthetic progesterone is Norethindrone Acetate oral 5 mg 2x/day;When I said I wanted to take more a few years ago, the Gyn said it wouldn't be good for my heart (never had a heart issue). Still get migraines (less nausea though, less swollen chest and periods went to lighter and every 2 mos. appx. more often lately), yet still have IBS-D. If others have gone to no periods with no IBS weekly, and my heart has always been just fine, then there shouldn't be a problem of upping the dosage;Effect that I need badly is no random 2.5 day migraines, so I don't need to take Imitrex and "no IBS" hopefully is my aim + enabled to start a part time (at first) job. Less cost to the NHS all around. Other wise, starting back at a job after many years WHILE maintaining this ibs-d AND keeping up with a home would be too much of a combination. I need to try a higher dose. Maybe my General Doctor can up it. She is now prescribing the Norethindrone, unless she desides to let a Gyn. take over, passing me off maybe; Not going to tell her the Gyn wouldn't up it. Being turned down again is depressing and don't want to go to someone else for this simple uppage
