I have been wheelchaired with MS for 20+ years. I was told 15 yrs ago by 2 gastro docs that I had IBS and as receenty as 2 mo ago, there was nothing they could do. I have battled my MS for 26 yr and was damned if I was going to lose to IBS. i found Heather Van Vorous' page. Got the book, the pepermint pills and Mike Maloney. Cold turkey onto no meat, dairy, alcohol, salads etc. Life changer after 15 yr of stress & accidents & shrunken social life, happy to say 7 weeks in, All's Well from day one.
what a great agenda ! I am an 8 of 10 on the disability scale. Bladder & bowel incontinence for years. Need help on & off.
I am curious as to any guidance from other disable out there concerning diet or nutrition problems from such a diet change. Other than the obvious, my heath systems ad vitals are in good shape "for the shape I'm in" at 71. I do have my one beer/day however !
thanks for the ear !
