I was browsing this forum and it seems that Venlafaxine (effexor) helped some people. How long did it take to take an effect? What dosage?

I read that Yoda (formerly Hans) did completely got rid of her IBS using this med. But I cant contact her to ask for more details

I am taking 150 currently. First 3 days symptoms worsened. Then for 3 days they disappeared first time for 6 years. But then they came back again. It is day 12 today.
