All 18-25 year old males who are citizens of the United States need to register with the Selective Service. Which would then leave you available to be drafted if and when a draft was re-established.
The last draft ended in 1973 near the end of the SouthEast Asia War Games.
There are some circumstances that would stop you from being drafted into the military, but I don't think IBS would be one of them.
