Any struggling seniors with IBS?       11/20/09 09:07 AM Edit Reply Quote Windchimes Reged: 09/05/09 Posts: 581 Loc: Northern California I'm wondering if there are any seniors here financially struggling. I refuse to feel sorry for myself, though some days I have to wonder how I can pay the essential expenses and still eat well. I live alone and am my own sole support. I worked hard all of my life and paid my taxes honestly. What I had saved in investments went down the drain twice based on stock market crashes. Now I find myself with Social Security only, and a very small pension. The pension goes for supplemental medical insurance and out-of-pocket medical costs. My friends and acquaintances just do not understand, as they are not dealing with IBS and have plenty of money to sustain them every month.
