Amytriptyline WHEN DOES IT START TO WORK?       10/14/09 04:45 PM Edit Reply Quote goldiloks72 Reged: 07/28/09 Posts: 68 I have been on the Amytriptyline for three weeks. I had accupunture 2/12 weeks ago and was feeling great. Last night BAM! bad attack! It lasted for 5 hours and kept getting worse! I finally gave in and took 0.25 mg of triazolam which always makes it stop 20min-1 hour withing taking it. Nothing else does this. Bentyl does not work for me. Very frustrating because I am doing everything right with my diet. I avoid all the things that I am supposed to and I only eat insoluble fiber with soluble fiber. I want this to stabilize so badly.
