It's just so scary... I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with my stress level which is at the max! 
Then, when the symptoms happen my stress, of course, increases. Still going through it today - everything I've eaten - even bagel and applesauce has made me sick and swollen like a toad!  But, I did get a phone call first thing this morning about a family crisis, so I'm sure everything inside is tied in knots!
The last endoscopy/colonoscopy I had showed gastritis, esophogitis, diverticulosis & IBS - but everything was irritated. I'm praying the biopsies show just that irritation and your dr. has an answer for that. Have you ever been on Nexium? I'm not advocating it, but I'm on it now - not just for GERD - my GI says it helps heal all of the above, as well.
