Your daughter sounds like a WONDERFUL mom! I know the hardest part of my daughter (and any other children we have) being vegan will be what she eats when she's with other kids. I certainly don't want her to get made fun of, so I hope that we can make it all work. We rarely have junk food in our house anyway, once in awhile I buy cookies or soy ice cream. I admit I'm enjoying these things now while I'm still burning huge calories with breastfeeding!! Her daycare provider is also being very supportive and will work with us on menus once she starts eating "real" food, so that helps. If your daughter has any suggestions or cook book ideas on veggie meals for little ones, I'd love to hear about it!
