It just gives the waist a little more stretch. For those in the UK the next website has a few pairs of smart looking draw string trousers. I'm also craving this house pant pattern from Betsy Ross. http://betsyrosspatterns.com/patterns.html. Isn't the print great! I'm in love with the pockets - I've not seen that before on a pajama pant. http://betsyrosspatterns.com/patterns.html.
