You're very lucky to have a partner that understands! Yeah, I get depressed over my ongoing IBS. It's not just humiliating and debilitating but it really gets me crazy to think that some friends may think I'm nuts. I try to tell myself that what they think shouldn't bother me and SOMETIMES I can actually believe that, but sometimes it gets the better of me.
