Newly diagnosed with IBS       02/22/09 07:47 PM Edit Reply Quote Megan29 Reged: 02/22/09 Posts: 19 I just got a fairly definitive diagnosis of IBS. A friend of mine back home in WI has the same condition and she directed me here. Any general tips? Some of the foods on Heather's "to avoid" list don't always bother me. Do trigger foods vary from person to person? (For example, I can have peanut butter and some alcohol doesn't bother me.) I'm really new to this and when people ask me what IBS is and i explain, sometimes I don't think they take me all that seriously...like it's something in my head. Any advice would be appreciated.
